When the riders enter the end zone I do wish the commentators would be quiet so we can hear the interaction between the riders. That would definitely be a plus.

I can't be the only one who doesn't care for the drone footage. It's an unnecessary gimmick that takes away from the quality of the product. Gimme the nice steady long lens shots that let you actually see how big people are going all day long.

These guys don’t know how to ride backcountry pow. They try and talk the talk but can’t walk the walk. Don’t speak as if you know what true backcountry riding is all about. Stick to your park riding and let the real veterans show you how it’s done. Your sponsors are just plagiarizing the true aspect of the sport and capitalizing on your lack of non skills for material and publicity.

I’ve been snowboarding for over 30 years, and I can tell you I really struggle with virtually every commentator in every competition coverage. It’s just cringe. This woman says she’s never seen the competitors being nice to each other and having a good time. She clearly doesn’t know much about snowboarding, that’s the norm in snowboarding.

Never got a close look but I think the footage is coming from the upcoming (yet to be released to market) DJI FPV Drone which pairs with previously released DJI digital HD goggles.

Honestly I cannot understand how Nicolas Müller was not nominated to compete. So many of these riders are obviously inspired by his style of riding powder. Arms up for balance and style, those Nosebutters and Methods...that is just Mullair signature style!!!

Yea i was laughing because one of the riders said one sentence, and the commentator starts talking over them saying "i love how we can hear their conversation at the bottom" and they keep on talking over them so we couldnt hear shit lmao wtf

It would be sweet to see some legendary skiers worked into the mix here; For example Benchetler, Mr. Hall, Townsend, etc. I think having both disciplines together would really propel the sport together!
@Andrew Schreefer I agree, skier's can go make their own sweet ass contest and do it themselves. This was snowboarders being snowboarders and was sick. I love skiing too, but this event in 2021 is snowboarding. That's just the way it is.
@Connor Brown im not against skiing and snownoarding together competition. i actually really enjoy the format of the kings and queens of corbetts. in my opinion that works well in that contest. i just dont think adding skiing would work in a contest like this based on the way it is formatted
